You’re invited to Beyond 21’s Advocacy Day!

Join Beyond 21’s “Hear My Voice; See My Voice” team for the unveiling of our Community Art Project, experience live entertainment from our troupe, and view original art from our participants in this program.

Twice a week Beyond 21 participants have been practicing techniques to help them find their voices and build confidence through the arts. Activities include games, voice, movement and dramatic arts.

This has been building up towards a day to advocate for our participants and to help them have a voice. Issues at hand include the systemic hate that has been around for many years towards individuals with cognitive impairment, financial crimes; being taken advantage of; sexual, physical and emotional abuse at the hands of people they know and strangers in the community; issues with funding; ODSP payments; healthcare; housing; job prospects; being limited by others; and more.
