Donna MacGillivray serves as the Executive Director of The Hub For Beyond 21 Foundation. Working closely with the internal staff and the Board of Directors, she is committed to growing and supporting Beyond 21’s participants and program, while ensuring that our generous donors and volunteers remain engaged and connected with our mission.
With more than 25 years of professional experience, Donna is passionate about working with vulnerable populations, including people with developmental disabilities, youth, at-risk youth and even those re-entering civil society upon leaving the criminal justice system. She is committed to helping people achieve the most that they can in the environment in which they find themselves. Prior to Beyond 21, she was employed by Cornwall Hospital as a Mental Health Counsellor in addition to working for the Upper Canada District School Board for 17 years.
She is a certified member of the Ontario Association of Child and Youth Counsellors and registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. Donna holds a Bachelor of Social Development with a specialization in Social Work from the University of Waterloo as well as a diploma in Child and Youth Care and Developmental Services Worker diploma.
