Beyond 21 is pleased to announce a new partnership with the Municipality of South Dundas that will bring inclusive day programming for adults with developmental disabilities to the community of Iroquois. A new Beyond 21 satellite location is anticipated to launch in March 2026 at 5 College Street, Iroquois.
Building on the success of Beyond 21’s established Cornwall-based program, which has supported individuals and families for more than 15 years, the South Dundas location will initially operate one day per week, with plans to expand services over time based on community need.
This partnership reflects a shared commitment to inclusion, community engagement, and ensuring that adults with developmental disabilities have access to meaningful programming closer to home.
“The Municipality of South Dundas is proud to partner with Beyond 21 to bring this much-needed service to our community,” said Mayor Jason Broad of South Dundas. “This new program in Iroquois supports inclusion, strengthens local supports for families, and reflects our commitment to creating a welcoming and accessible community for all residents.”
The South Dundas satellite program will follow the same person-centred, community-based model that has made Beyond 21’s Cornwall program successful for over a decade. Programming focuses on life skills, social connection, community participation, and building independence in a supportive environment.
“For 15 years, Beyond 21 has seen the incredible impact that accessible, inclusive programming can have on individuals, families, and communities,” said Tish Humphries Founder of Beyond 21. “We are excited to partner with the Municipality of South Dundas to extend our reach and bring these opportunities to Iroquois. Starting one day a week allows us to grow thoughtfully and responsively, ensuring the program truly meets the needs of the community.”
Individuals and families who are interested in attending the new Beyond 21 South Dundas program are encouraged to join the registration interest list by visiting the Beyond 21 website. Community members will be contacted with further details as the March 2026 launch approaches.
