Join us for a free, open-house style information night for individuals with developmental disabilities, families, caregivers, educators, and community members. This event is designed to bring local supports and services together in one space so you can ask questions, gather information, and explore options as you plan ahead.

Beyond 21

Beyond 21 is a Cornwall-based nonprofit supporting adults with developmental disabilities through an engaging program focused on life and home skills, creative arts, literacy, employment readiness, wellness, and community participation. Serving over 80 participants, Beyond 21 fosters independence, confidence, and connection in a safe, inclusive, and purpose-driven environment.

Cornwall Public Library

Cornwall Public Library is a welcoming community hub offering free access to books, digital resources, technology, and lifelong learning opportunities. Serving residents of Cornwall and SDG Counties, the library provides programs for all ages, promotes literacy and inclusion, and creates space for connection, creativity, and community engagement.

Developmental Services Ontario – Eastern Region (“DSOER”)

Developmental Services Ontario – Eastern Region (DSOER) helps adults with developmental disabilities and their families access provincially funded services and supports. DSOER connects individuals to residential services, community programs, and funding options, guiding them through eligibility, application processes, and service coordination across Eastern Ontario.

Glengarry Inter-Agency Group (“GIAG”)

Glengarry Inter-Agency Group (GIAG) is a non-profit organizationthat engages the community in work, play, and the realization of personal potential. GIAG delivers Integrated Employment Services, The Learning Centre, Early ON programs, Senior Services, and Youth in Transition supports. Through coordinated, community-based programming, GIAG strengthens access to education, employment, and social supports for individuals and families across the region.

Handi Transit

Cornwall Handi-Transit provides accessible, door-to-door transportation for individuals who are unable to use conventional public transit due to a disability. Serving residents of Cornwall, Handi-Transit supports independence and community participation by offering safe, reliable, and affordable transportation for medical appointments, work, school, and social activities.

Inspire Community Support Services

Inspire Community Support Services provides person-directed supports for children, youth, and adults with developmental disabilities across Stormont, Dundas, and Glengarry. Inspire offers residential services, supported living, community participation programs, and respite supports, helping individuals build independence, develop skills, and remain actively connected within their communities.

SDG Legal Clinic / Clinique juridique SDG

SDG Legal Clinic / Clinique juridique SDG is a community legal clinic providing free legal services to eligible low-income residents of Stormont, Dundas, and Glengarry. The clinic offers advice, representation, and public legal education in areas such as housing, income support, employment, and human rights, helping individuals understand their rights and access justice in both English and French.

Koala Place

Koala Place is a child and youth advocacy centre serving Stormont, Dundas, and Glengarry. Koala Place provides coordinated, child-focused support for young people and families impacted by abuse or violence, bringing community partners together in one safe, welcoming space to reduce trauma and promote healing.

MPP Nolan Quinn’s Office

Nolan Quinn is the Member of Provincial Parliament for Stormont–Dundas–South Glengarry. As a provincial representative, he and his team work with local organizations, municipalities, and community groups to support economic development, social services, and community well-being.

Passport Program

Passport Program provides individualized funding for adults with developmental disabilities to support community participation, daily living activities, and respite for caregivers. In Cornwall and across SDG Counties, eligible individuals access Passport funding through Developmental Services Ontario, helping them participate in programs like Beyond 21, build independence, and engage more fully in their community.

Special Olympics

Special Olympics Ontario provides year-round sport training and athletic competition for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Through local programs in communities like Cornwall and across SDG Counties, athletes build confidence, physical fitness, and lifelong friendships.

Terra Financial

Terra Financial provides personalized financial planning and advisory services to individuals, families, and business owners in Cornwall and the surrounding region. With a focus on long-term stability and informed decision-making, Terra Financial supports clients with investment planning, retirement strategies, insurance, and wealth management, helping strengthen financial well-being within the local community.
