Beyond 21 Celebrates Successful Launch of New Room to Grow Capital Campaign
Cornwall, ON – June 26, 2026 – Beyond 21 is proud to announce the successful launch of its Room to Grow Capital Campaign, held on June 24, 2026. The evening welcomed donors, community leaders, supporters, and friends of the organization to celebrate an exciting new chapter in Beyond 21’s history.
Guests flowed through the event throughout the evening, creating a lively and inspiring atmosphere filled with conversation, connection, and a shared commitment to the future of adults with developmental disabilities in Cornwall, SDG and Akwesasne. Attendees had the opportunity to tour the facility, view expansion plans and renderings, and learn more about the vision behind the campaign.
The Room to Grow Capital Campaign will support an expansion of Beyond 21’s Cornwall facility, allowing the organization to better meet the growing needs of participants and the community. The additional space will include a new STEM lab, Art Studio, Sensory room, and expanded office space. The launch event pushed the campaign to over 50% of the $650,000 goal securing the foundation for creating new opportunities for learning, skill development, social engagement, and personal growth while ensuring Beyond 21 can continue to provide high-quality programs and services for years to come.
“We were overwhelmed by the support shown at our launch event,” said Amy Malyon, Executive Director of Beyond 21. “The energy in the room reflected our community’s belief in our mission and their commitment to helping us create more opportunities for the individuals we serve. This campaign is about more than a building—it’s about investing in people and creating a space where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.”
The reception also provided an opportunity to recognize the generosity of early campaign supporters whose contributions have helped lay the foundation for this important project. Guests were encouraged to ask questions, share ideas, and learn how they can become part of the campaign’s ongoing success.
For more than 15 years, Beyond 21 has provided meaningful programs and opportunities that empower adults with developmental disabilities to live engaged, fulfilling lives. As demand for services continues to grow, so does the need for additional space and resources. The Room to Grow expansion will ensure that Beyond 21 can continue to welcome more participants, expand programming, and strengthen its impact throughout the region.
As Beyond 21 continues its fundraising efforts, community members, businesses, foundations, and organizations are invited to join the Room to Grow Capital Campaign.
