Join us in celebrating 47 years of the Great Raisin River Footrace at the beautiful Williamstown Fairgrounds! Choose between the scenic 1K, 5K or 11K loop along the Raisin River. All event profits support adults with developmental disabilities at Beyond 21.

Sunday, August 9 → Williamstown Fairgrounds
- 7:00-8:15 am — Bib pickup and late registration
- 8:30 am — 11K run begins
- 8:35 am — 5K run begins
- 8:40 am – 1K run begins
- 10:00-10:45 am — Refreshments, snacks, awards and fundraising announcement
Award Categories
- Ed Whitlock Trophy — Fastest 5K (male and female)
- Tom Longboat Trophy — Fastest 11K (male and female)
- Richard Jarvo Memorial Trophy — Fastest 5K (male, 19 and under)
- Kathrine Switzer Trophy — Fastest 5K (female, 19 and under)
- Age category awards — Top male and female per 10-year age categories will be listed on the website* following the race.

FAQs
Beyond 21 is a non-profit in Cornwall, Ontario, offering subsidized programming for adults with developmental disabilities. Our programs focus on social connections, physical health, hands-on learning, and building self-confidence.
What is the “Kid’s Fun Run”?
A non-competitive 150-meter dash for children 10 and under not participating in the 5K or 11K. No pre-registration needed, but parents/guardians must buy Fair admission if staying on-site.
I already have a weekend pass to the Fair. Can I get a discount on my registration?
Unfortunately, we can’t offer a discount for those with weekend passes, but you can gift your bracelet to someone else who can use it for Fair access.
Can my family and friends watch the race?
Family and friends can purchase their own Fairgrounds passes to watch or cheer along the route. Race onlookers do not get free access to the Fairgrounds.
Can I participate if I’m not a runner?
Yes! Walkers are welcome in the 5K race.
Can I register on race day?
Yes, though pre-registration online is encouraged to save $20 and ensure smoother race day. We can only register up to 20 participants on-site.
What if it rains?
The race will go on rain or shine, unless weather is unsafe. Be sure to prepare for the conditions!
Are strollers allowed?
Yes, but parents are responsible for strollers on the course. Full Fair admission fees apply for children in strollers.
Cancellation Policy:
Registrations are non-refundable. In case of event cancellation, a full refund will be issued. If postponed, no refunds will be given for the rescheduled date. By registering, you agree to these terms.
